Woman pleads guilty in drunk-driving accident that claimed motocyclist


YOUNGSTOWN — A Struthers woman entered a guilty plea to charges she was driving drunk when she caused an accident that killed a 20-year-old motorcyclist.

Jill Bissett, 48, entered the plea before Judge James Evans in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.

She was accused of causing an accident on May 4, 2012, on state Route 289 in Poland Township that killed Tammy Miller of Youngstown.

Bissett is free on bond until her July 14 sentencing date.
