SENIOR CITIZENS


AARP 4611 East will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. The executive board will meet at 11 a.m., and the Rev. Jack Pettis of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church will be the speaker for the annual memorial service at noon. There will be a 50-50 raffle. Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Eagles Aerie, 26 W. Wilson Ave. May birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. 50-50 raffle tickets will be for sale and an attendance prize will be awarded. Bingo and cards will be played.

Local 1199 Retirees will meet at 10 a.m. Monday at the union hall, 310 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Suite 8.

OBES Retirees will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Friendly’s on Route 224 in Poland.

Public Employee Retirees Inc., Mahoning County 18, will meet at noon June 3 at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., Boardman. The menu consists of filet beef tips, buttered noodles, California vegetables, salad bar, rolls and butter, coffee or tea and dessert. A money raffle is planned. The cost is $12 for members, associate members and guests, payable at the door.
