In the cup! Area holes-in-one

Bill Rinehart, Sr. and Ray Nemeth, both of Struthers, recorded aces on a golf trip with friends earlier in the month. Rinehart aced hole No. 8 at The Conley Resort in Butler, Pa., on the first day. Nemeth aced the same hole the very next day.

Dr. Jim Shina of Canfield aced the 156-yard No. 12 hole at Pine Lakes with an 8-iron during the Austintown Fitch football golf outing. The shot was witnessed by Tony Biondillo, Ryan Philibin, Mike Zoccali and Doug Barnhart.

Tom Robey of Hubbard aced the 132-yard No. 11 hole at Knoll Run. He used an 8-iron. Witnesses were Bill Kosta and Bill Creed.

Dan Shurilla of Poland aced the 185-yard No. 8 hole at Firestone Farms. He used a 5-iron. Witnesses were George Rohan, T.C. Bankovich and Zack Bankovich.

Wally Roshetsky aced the 125-yard No. 4 hole at Avalon Lakes with an 8-iron. Witnesses were Dr. A Ghani, Joe Mattinat, Girish Chandra and Chuck Wissuchek.
