LAW

Girard native Christine Z. Papa has joined the Youngstown-based law firm of Roth, Blair, Roberts, Strasfeld & Lodge, where she will focus on employment and workers’ compensation law and litigation. Zapa earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and English from John Carroll University in 2000 and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2003. She is licensed to practice in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

MATERIAL HANDLING

Mark Evans, a United States Navy veteran with extensive experience in handling operations, has been named vice president of operations of Valley Industrial Trucks. Evans will develop customer support and services and implement process improvement strategies for the Youngstown-based full-service material handling dealership.

PRINTING

Victor Painting, 400 Riverside Drive, Sharon, Pa., received a Franklin Award for Excellence for outstanding achievement at the Neographics 2014 Power of Print Competition on May 8 in Philadelphia. The competition featured hundred of entries from printing and graphics firms throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.
