What: Thunder Over the Valley Air Show

When: Today and Sunday

Where: Youngstown Air Reserve Station, 3976 King-Graves Road, Vienna.

Cost: The show is free. Tickets are not required.

Schedule of events

9 a.m.: Gates open.

9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Static display, ground exhibits.

11:30-11:45 a.m.: Opening ceremony.

11:45-11:50 a.m.: Flag drop; national anthem.

Noon-5 p.m.: Air show demonstrations.

Acts include: Third Strike Wingwalking, Red Star and the Dragon, Quick Silver P-5 1 Mustang, The Vanguard Squadron, Trojan Horsemen, Fighters & Legends, Manfred Radius, Sibling Rivalry, Yankee Air Museum, Valiant Echoes, Flash Fire Jet Truck, Air Force Thunderbirds.

Parking/shuttle service

There is no parking for air show guests at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station or the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.

Community Bus Services will shuttle air show attendees round-trip for a fee of $5 per seat.

The two primary public parking areas where air show visitors must park to be shuttled to the show grounds are:

Eastwood Field, Eastwood Mall shopping Complex, 111 Eastwood Mall Blvd., Niles.

Delphi-Packard Electric Systems, corner of North River Road and Larchmont Avenue, 165 N. River Rd. NW, Warren.

Static displays and vendors will remain open after the performances. The show grounds close at 7 p.m. when shuttle services ends.
