Tools taken from Boardman Lowe's store

A man stole two sets of tools from Lowe's Thursday.

According to a police report, a man walked into the 1100 Doral Drive location and selected two sets of DeWalt tools, a combined value of $598, and ran out the front entrance.

From there, he jumped in a car and left the scene. Store officials did get the license plate of the car as it fled and are investigating.
