Run-walk event set at Villa Maria center

VILLA MARIA, PA.

Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center’s 5th annual 5K Run-2 Mile Walk is set for June 7. The event will begin at 9 a.m., rain or shine, on the grounds of Villa Maria Community Center, 2067 Evergreen Road.

Activities are for the serious runner to children of all ages. Prizes will be awarded for runners in all age groups and overall.

Other activities will include a 50-yard dash for children and a drumming circle open to all.

The cost for the run is $20, or $15 if you register before Wednesday.

The walk costs $15, or $10 before Wednesday.

The children’s 50-yard dash is free.
