Campbell woman will answer to charges of obstructing official business and resisting arrest
CAMPBELL
A 25-year-old Campbell woman will answer to charges of obstructing official business and resisting arrest in Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Miesha M. Clark, of Monroe Street, was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday during a traffic stop.
City police on patrol were flagged down by a group of four juveniles on Murray Avenue, who said the car that had just driven past the police cruiser had backed into one of the children, then drove away.
Police then located the car and initiated a traffic stop. Almost immediately, the car's passenger -- identified as Clark -- began yelling obscenities, preventing the officer from conducting any sort of investigation. Clark was given a warning, then arrested for obstructing official business after continuing to disobey the officer's requests.
She was also charged with resisting arrest for attempting to get away away from the officer when he was handcuffing her.
Police later discovered that the juveniles had been lying about the situation.
