2 Sip and Paint events scheduled
Sip and Paint events, in which attendees can create a work of art while enjoying wine, will take place at two locations this month.
The first will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Myrddin Winery, 3020 Scenic Drive, Lake Milton. For $25, patrons will receive a canvas, all painting supplies, instruction and a glass of wine. For reservations call 330-286-3779 or 330-654-9181.
The second will be May 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Whitefire Restaurant and Grille, 6580 Ironwood Blvd., Canfield. for $40, patrons will receive a wine glass on which to paint, all painting supplies, instruction and a glass of wine. For reservations, call 330-702-9866.
Black-and-white art is exhibited
WARREN
The Black and White show, featuring 85 works of art by 34 regional artists, is on display at the Nissen Gallery, first floor of Trumbull Memorial Hospital, 1150 E. Market St., through June 17.
All works in the show are in black and white, and all contributors are members of Trumbull Area Artists.
Most of the works are for sale, with prices ranging from $20 to $500.
The show is curated and coordinated by Karen Fry, TAA director, with assistance from James Hardy and Kathryn Infante. Best of show and artistic recognition prizes will be awarded.
