Hubbard man charged with criminal damaging

A man was charged with criminal damaging after he shot out a street light in the parking lot at the school board offices on Orchard Avenue.

Police said they were called after the light was broken around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

They interviewed people drinking around a campfire at 50 Orchard Ave. and ended up charging Joseph Turner, 28, of South Maryland Avenue in Youngstown. He was released on a summons.
