Canfield Republican Women’s Club is sponsoring a Quarter Auction Fundraiser on June 5 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the auction begins at 6. Tickets for $15 each are limited and must be bought in advance. They include Bidding Paddle, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, coffee and iced tea. Reserved tables are available for groups of eight or nine. BINGO, CARD PARTIES
St. Rose Big Bingo Night will take place Friday at St. Rose School, 61 E. Main St. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and bingo starts at 6:30. Tickets are $55 each, call the church rectory at 330-545-4351. There will be a $6,000 payout, six door prizes of $100 each and a bonus door prize of $200 in instant lottery tickets; winner-takes-all tickets are $3. The buffet comprises pasta and meatballs, chicken, potatoes, green beans, salad and homemade bread.
CRAFT SHOWS
Celebrate Poland will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 28. Vendors are needed. Art, crafts and nonprofit groups are needed for the annual craft show. Registration fee is $30 for a 10-by-15 outdoor space. Call Barbara Banks at 330-757-4584 for a contract and more information.
Salem Kiwanis Club will host its 50th Antique and Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 19 in Centennial Park on East Pershing Street. FASHION SHOWS
Living Testimonies Ministries, 34 Jacobs Road, Youngstown, will host its 4th annual spring fashion show fundraiser from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. FUNDRAISERS
Avalon Golf and Country Club, Squaw Creek, 761 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Vienna, will host the annual Pink Ribbon Golf Classic on July 14. The 18-hole four-person scramble will be followed by lunch and a basket auction and raffle. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m., and play will get underway with a shotgun start at 9. All proceeds from this event will benefit the American Cancer Society. Mahoning County Junior Fair Board will sponsor a trunk sale at the Canfield Fairgrounds in the Junior Fair Area from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 7. Both indoor and outdoor vendor locations are available.
