In the opener, Nick Micco had four hits while winning pitcher Jake Maszczak’s two hits drove in two runs. Vince Hynes also had two hits. In the second game, winning pitcher Tyler Rotz had two hits. Micco and Mike kacir each had two hits and three RBIs while Eddie Harkleroad drove in two runs.

Winning pitcher Aleah Hughes (6-2) tossed a three-hit shutout, striking out eight batters and walking one. Sam Hamski had two hits while Maddie Kreitzburg and Tory White each drove in a run.

NEW MIDDLETOWN
Winning pitcher Maddie Kreitzburg (9-0) hit a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning and doubled for the Blue Devils (16-2). Hughes and Marley Oles also homered. Jenny Stubbs and Sydney Miller each doubled. For the Indians (9-9), Karlee Byrne hit two doubles. Gab Cario and Taylor Bell each hit a double.
Maplewood 2, Pymatuning Valley 1

Brooke Dawson struck out 11 batters and gave up just two hits in Maplewood’s win over Pymatuning Valley. Taylor Lewis had three hits and drove in both runs for the Rockets.
Maplewood 14, Cornerstone 0
MECCA
Brooke Dawson homered and Josie Campbell doubled as Maplewood surged for 14 runs on 13 hits against Cornerstone. Ryley Urchek reached base three times and drove in a run for the Rockets.
