Bowling bash benefit to fund backpacks

HERMITAGE, PA.

A bowling bash will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. May 22 at 10 Pin Alley, 3825 E. State St.

The evening includes an hour and a half of bowling for up to six people, shoe rental, a 12-inch pizza and a pitcher of pop. Separate bowling sessions will be from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Live music is planned from 6 to 8 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit Brookfield Backpack Charitable fund, a nationwide program of Feeding America that helps chronically hungry schoolchildren by providing bags of food for them to take home over the weekend.
