Tressel returns to YSU to speak Monday; reception to follow

YOUNGSTOWN

The newly chosen ninth president of Youngstown State University will be on campus Monday.

Jim Tressel will have a press conference at 7 p.m. in the Ohio Room on the second floor of Kilcawley Center.

A special YSU Board of Trustees’ meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in Kilcawley Center. Tressel and his wife, Ellen, are expected to attend that meeting.

A reception for Tressel in the student center will follow the press conference.

Tressel was selected by the trustees in a unanimous vote on Friday morning and he accepted. The terms of his contract must still be negotiated.
