“Once Upon a Time” (8 p.m., ABC): The two-hour season finale of “Once Upon a Time” features a time portal, and we’ve learned by now that time portals usually lead to trouble. Proceed with caution.

“ROSEMARY’S BABY” (9 p.m., NBC): A strange way to celebrate Mother’s Day? This eerie two-part miniseries is not a remake of Roman Polanski’s classic thriller, but a fresh adaptation of the hellishly suspenseful 1967 novel by Ira Levin that shifts the setting from New York to Paris. It focuses on a young pregnant woman (Zoe Saldana) and her husband (Patrick J. Adams), who move into a prestigious apartment complex seeking a fresh start. Just one problem: It comes with a haunted past and an immeasurable price.

“Penny Dreadful” (10 p.m., Showtime): You might want to keep the lights on during “Penny Dreadful.” It’s a creepy new drama series about monsters and demons who terrorize Victorian London. There will be blood.

Kids can mingle with superheroes

WARREN

The Superhero Experience for children will be at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. next Sunday at the Hippodrome, 150 High St.

Children can spend time with their favorite super- heroes at the event, which includes brunch, a certificate and keepsake, goody bag and a photo opportunity.

There also will be an interactive Superhero Academy and Stunt Show.

Campus offers acting classes

CHAMPION

Kent State-Trumbull Theater and Summer Stock 37 will offer two youth acting classes — Beginning Acting and Musical Theater — this summer.

The classes will be every Monday for eight weeks in June and July and are designed for students age 7 to 13. Each class is one hour and is taught by Kent alumnus Dana M. Warren and Kent student Jacob Glosser. Each class is $50 (both for $70). Enrollment is limited to 20.
