John, Jane Orlo mark 50th year of marriage

CAMPBELL

John and Jane Orlo of Campbell celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding at a private candlelight dinner April 30 at Tara in Clark, Pa. Their son, Thomas John Orlo of Campbell, hosted the celebration.

On May 9, 1964, the former Jane Swartz married Mr. Orlo at St. Joseph the Provider Church.

She worked 35 years at General Electric Co. in Austintown before retiring in 1997 as a group leader.

He worked 35 years for Ohio Bell Telephone Co. in Youngstown before retiring in 1991 as a central office repairman. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

The couple belong to Christ the Good Shepherd, Coitsville Seniors, 1418 Seniors, Telephone Pioneers and Mahoning Valley Old Car Club.
