Groups gather to promote fundraiser

Oakley’s Heart, A Call Fur Help and Cru Boutique will present a Fashion Fur a Cause fundraiser at 2 p.m. May 18 at the Austintown Eagles Club, 1655 S. Raccoon Road.

The fashion show begins at 2:30 p.m., and there also will be a variety of vendors, a basket auction, a 50-50 raffle and refreshments. Donations of towels and blankets will be accepted.

Tickets will be $12 each and will include 10 percent off at Cru’s pop-up shop during the event and 25 basket auction tickets.

Oakley’s Heart is an Ohio-based organization dedicated to raising awareness about heartworm disease and provides funding for pet owners with financial hardship or other crises.

A Call Fur Help helps families experiencing financial difficulty maintain their pets.
