Woman in Boardman assaulted by man on motorcycle
BOARDMAN — Boardman police are investigating an assault of woman who reported she was punched by a man after she nearly caused a car accident.
The 18-year-old woman said she was turning into Speedway on East Midlothian Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday when she heard tires screech behind her and a motorcycle almost hit her.
The white male on the bike then came up to her and yelled at her for nearly causing him to hit her.
He then reached into a window and punched her with a closed fist on the left cheek twice, according to a police report.
The woman had minor swelling on her face and declined medical treatment.
She gave a description of a red-bearded male approximately 6 feet tall on a black sport bike with no visible license plate, according to a police report.
No arrests were made.
