AUXILIARIES

ITAM Veterans Ladies Auxiliary Canfield Post 2 will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Belleria on Meridian Road. Members are reminded to provide volunteer hours and donations for state and national reports. Plans for the Flapjacks for Vets fundraiser will be discussed.

Sebring American Legion Post 76 Auxiliary meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the post.

St. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday in the private dining room of St. Elizabeth Health Center on Belmont Avenue. The speaker will be Bridgette Lackey, SEHC dietician, presenting “Health at Home.”

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1962 will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Antone’s, 720 Boardman-Canfield Road in Boardman.

Woodrow Wilson High School January and June classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the classes of 1946 and 1948 also are welcome.

CLUBS

College Club of Sharon will meet for a noon luncheon Saturday in the banquet room of Montana’s Chop & Steak House, Hermitage, Pa. Speaking will be Sherris Moreira, who will discuss “Women in Communications.” Joan Feeney and Doris DeForest will be the hostesses. No reservations are needed. The Transcendental Group will have its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Park Vista North Lounge, 1310 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. The focus of the May meeting is touch drawing, a method created by Deborah Koff-Chapin that allows individuals to have a deeper understanding of their inner self through finger painting. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of Austintown Library will meet at 10 a.m. May 19 at the library. The speaker will be Tara Cioffi, administrator of the Mahoning-Trumbull Air Pollution Control Agency.

Friends of the Boardman Library will meet on Monday at the library. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m., and the program, “Mathematics and Art,” will be presented by Dr. Angela Spalsbury at 10. Hostesses will be Renee Cole, Doris Almasy, Beverly Yurcisin and Beverly Gibson. Guests are welcome; no reservations are necessary. On the first and third Saturday of each month members will be at the library to accept donations of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs from 10 a.m. to noon. All profits help to support the summer reading program.
