College Club of Sharon will meet for a noon luncheon Saturday in the banquet room of Montana’s Chop & Steak House, Hermitage, Pa. The focus of the May meeting is touch drawing, a method created by Deborah Koff-Chapin that allows individuals to have a deeper understanding of their inner self through finger painting. Friends of Austintown Library will meet at 10 a.m. May 19 at the library. The speaker will be Tara Cioffi, administrator of the Mahoning-Trumbull Air Pollution Control Agency.
Friends of the Boardman Library will meet on Monday at the library. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m., and the program, “Mathematics and Art,” will be presented by Dr. Angela Spalsbury at 10. Hostesses will be Renee Cole, Doris Almasy, Beverly Yurcisin and Beverly Gibson. Guests are welcome; no reservations are necessary. On the first and third Saturday of each month members will be at the library to accept donations of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs from 10 a.m. to noon. All profits help to support the summer reading program.
