Man arraigned today on arson charge

YOUNGSTOWN — A man wanted on an aggravated arson warrant from 2011 was arraigned today in Youngstown Municipal Court.

Oliver Hargrove, 47, was ordered held on $50,000 bond in Mahoning County jail, and if he manages to post bond he will be placed on house arrest.

Capt. Alvin Ware, city fire department arson investigator, said Hargrove was arrested in Detroit by U.S. Marshals recently and brought back to Youngstown.

He is accused of setting a fire at a home in the 800 block of Woodford Avenue on Oct. 23, 2011.
