Joe Deninzon show at Halligan’s

YOUNGSTOWN

Joe Deninzon & Stratospheerius will perform at Halligan’s Bar & Grille, 1281 Salt Springs Road, at 9 p.m. May 16.

Also on the bill is Radio Crush. There is no cover.

Stratospheerius’ unique rock sound is paced by a rock violin and includes elements of jam, fusion, progressive, jazz and metal.

Fitch choir sets spring concert

AUSTINTOWN

The Fitch High School Choir’s spring concert will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday at the school auditorium. The theme is “Rock to the Music.” The choir will perform Top 40 songs as well a medley from the Disney musical “Newsies.” Tickets are $5 ($3 for senior citizens and students) at the door.

Jazz ensemble to play at JCC

YOUNGSTOWN

Free walking tours of historical area

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown State University Center for Applied History, in partnership with the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, will conduct free walking tours of Youngstown’s historic Wick Avenue on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The hourlong tours will leave every 15 minutes from the parking lot of MVHS, 648 Wick Ave. They will focus on the history of Wick Avenue, from Millionaire’s Row to the Cultural Corridor.
