Miss Cornell, Mr. Papalia plan June rites

Kristin Cornell and Nathan Papalia, both of Moline, Ill., are engaged. The bride-elect’s parents are announcing the engagement.

Her mother and stepfather are Rhonda and Bill McKinley of Viola, Ill., and her father is William Cornell of Moline. The prospective groom’s parents are Victoria and Michael Papalia of Struthers.

A private ceremony will take place June 20 at the home of the bride’s mother and stepfather followed by a catered barbecue at the bride’s home. On June 21 a dinner will honor the couple at Cafe Fresh in Moline, and a cocktail party reception will follow. Invitations will be issued for all events.

The bride-to-be is the owner of Lillee Leighton Salon in Moline and is a professional artist.

Her fiancé earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Loyola University and a master’s degree in medical physics from the University of Cincinnati. He is a medical physicist for Trinity Medical Center in Moline.
