ELECTION UPDATE | Incumbent Tim Ryan on his way to re-election
COLUMBUS — Early-voting results show incumbent U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Howland, having no problems in retaining his 13th District congressional seat.
Ryan leads his challenger John Stephen Luchansky by a vote of 7,772 to 1,142.
In the 6th District Democratic congressional race, Jennifer Garrison is leading her challenger Gregory Howard, 4,366 to 1,408. The winner will face incumbent Bill Johnson of Marietta in the November election. Johnson has no challenger in today's primary election.
