ELECTION UPDATE | Anti-fracking defeated, Mahoning tax losing

Voters in Youngstown, for the third time, have rejected an anti-fracking charter amendment.

Voters rejected the so-called Community Bill of Rights with 3,674 voting no compared to 3,100 voting in favor of it.

Also, the Mahoning County half-percent sales tax is losing by 132 votes with 228 of the county's 273 precincts reporting.
