Monroe-Lalanne wedding date is set in May

YOUNGSTOWN

Jeanne Cotters Monroe of Youngstown is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Alyssa Nicole Monroe, and Alexander Carl Lalanne, both of Fairfax, Va. His parents are Jean and Marie Lalanne of Lorton, Va.

The late Cecil B. Monroe is the father of the bride-elect.

First Presbyterian Church will be the setting of the 4 p.m. May 31 open wedding. Invitations will be issued for a reception to follow at the Grand Pavilion at the Magnuson Hotel in Warren.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree from Marymount University. She is an oncology registered nurse at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Va.

The future groom is a duty manager for Global Elite Group at Washington Dulles International Airport in Dulles, Va.
