Lawrence County looking for perfect amateur summer photo

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Lawrence County officials are looking for that perfect photo of summer through places, events and festivals unique in the area.

Amateur photographers are being asked to step forward for the chance to display their skills and possibly win a cash prize. Some of the photographs will be used in the county’s promotional literature seen by tourists from across the country.

The prizes are $200 for first place; $100 for second; and $50 for third. All entries will be judged by the Lawrence County Tourist Promotion Agency and used for the purpose of promoting tourism.

Those entering the contest must be at least 16 years old. The deadline for submission is Sept. 30.
