In the opener, Drew Beck had the game-winning RBI. In the second game, Jon Saadey, Christian Lowery, Harrison Wagner and Andrew Armstrong hit doubles for the Cardinals (12-1). Saadey had three hits. The Dukes are 12-5.

Dan Macinga hit two doubles for the Raiders (14-3, 9-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier One) in the opener. Zach Thorpe, Bill Goodall and Gary Miller also had two hits. Goodall, Miller and Ryan Miller doubled while Goodall and AJ Melnick each had two RBIs. Tyler Rothbauer tripled. Winning pitcher Turner Curry (1-1) tossed a one-hitter, striking out six and walking one. Macinga (2-0) was the winning pitcher in the second game, striking out six and walking two in five inning. Josh Fromel and Ethan Dominguez each hit two doubles. Thorpe and Goodall also had two hits. Thorpe and Ryan Miller doubled. Goodall and Dylan Keller each drove in two runs.

COLUMBIANA
Bryce Franken went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs while Mitch Davidson was 4-for-4 with two RBIs, leading a 14-hit barrage. Davidson struck out seven and walked none in five innings. After a scoreless first, the Clippers’ bats woke up in the second inning with five runs.

Mike Schuller tossed a two-hit shutout, striking out nine and walking four for the Blue Devils (6-7, 6-5 ITCL Tier Two). He also had two hits, scored a run and drove in two. Kenny Greaver, Evan Magill and Ben Carkido each drove in a run.

Winning pitcher Chris Steigerwald tossed a four-hitter for the Golden Flashes (9-4). Zach Zigmont’s four hits included a double and drove in three runs. Lucas Nasonti’s three hits included a double and brought home two runs. Steigerwald and Chris Miller each had two hits. Miller had a double and two RBIs, and Michael Turner doubled.

Cody Cykon threw a five-inning no-hitter, striking out 10 and walking one. He faced 16 batters. Zigmont, Brian Shevel, Jake Walters and Bailey Slyk each had three hits.

Bryan Leipply tossed a five-inning no-hitter, striking out eight and walking four for the Mustangs (9-4). Jeremy Forsythe’s four hits included a triple and double and he drove in five runs. Leipply’s three hits included a homer and double, and he drove in two runs. Cobie Pratt had two hits and two RBIs. Mike Kennedy hit two doubles. Bryan Oatridge also had two hits while Matt Harries and Kolan Elser doubled.
Woodridge 12, Garfield 1
PENINSULA
Seven runs in the first two innings and five more in the fourth gave Woodridge (16-2) a four-inning win by 10-run rule. Kevin Kelleher doubled, scored a run and drove in two and also earned the win on the mound, holding the G-Men to four hits. Alec Shaheen singled twice and drove in three runs. For Garfield, Logan Steiner scored the lone run in the third.
