Girls Night Out at the Gardens will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. May 20 and 21 at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave.
Participants can shop the first half of the evening at the Shop in the Gardens for home and garden decor and personal accessories. Vendors also will have speciality goods for sale, and there will be a chance raffle and a 50-50 Buy and Bloom.
Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens will receive a 20 percent discount on items purchased, and nonmembers will receive a 10 percent discount. Memberships for Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens also will be for sale.
During the second half of the evening in the Rossi Auditorium, food will be provided by David Armstrong’s Cater 2U, there will be a demonstration of garden container planting with a consultation by Lutz Greenhouse, and there will be a live auction bid for package prizes.
Entertainment will be by Damaris Peters Pike, a one-woman show, who will present “Bubbles: A visit with Beverly Sills.” Sills was an effervescent red-headed opera star.
Tickets are available for $30 each or $350 for a table of 10. Call 330-740-7116 to register.
