Home Savings donation to expand Neil Kennedy detox, recovery services

YOUNGSTOWN

The Home Savings Charitable Foundation donated $5,000 to the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic on Rush Boulevard to be used for expansion of detoxification services and the recovery-supportive housing program.

The donation will go toward construction of an eight-bed recovery-supportive housing unit near the clinic’s main campus.

The project will increase capacity by up to 400 people in detox programs and up to 188 people in housing, said Jerry Carter, Neil Kennedy executive director.
