Ariel Castro's cousin says he's harassed

CLEVELAND (AP) — A cousin of the Cleveland man who held three women captive for a decade says he’s suffered the wrath of people who hate his notorious family member.

Just before the first anniversary of the women’s escape from Ariel Castro’s house, cousin David Castro tells WKYC-TV that he’s been yelled at, made fun of and even kicked out of businesses after people find out he’s related.

He says people have even threatened to beat him up.

David Castro says he went to school with his cousin but the two never even talked. He also says “enough is enough” and he wishes he could stop talking about it.

Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight escaped on May 6 last year. Castro pleaded guilty in August and committed suicide in prison.
