Youngstown man to be arraigned in Warren robbery
WARREN
Raphael J. Napolitan, 21, of Kiawatha Road, Youngstown, will be arraigned today in Warren Municipal Court on an aggravated robbery charge after he was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with committing an armed robbery at Candy Corner LLC, 2226 Niles Road SE.
The store manager said a man entered the store at 5:51 p.m. with a black bandana over his face. The manager told him to remove the bandana in the store, but the suspect said, “I’m sorry, bro,” and pointed a gun at him and told the manager to give him the cash from the register.
After getting the money, the robber ran toward Burton Street and got into a red Chevy pickup truck and drove away. Police located a red Chevy pickup truck parked in front of 2019 North Feederle, and an officer saw a Napolitan, who matched the suspect’s description, walking nearby and arrested him.
