Warren laundromat worker robbed at gunpoint

WARREN

An employee of Wash Well Laundromat, 2296 N. River Road NE, was robbed at gunpoint of $1,583 in cash at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday as she prepared to leave the laundry with the receipts from the business.

A man in a black/dark purple sport utility vehicle pulled up behind her and blocked her into her parking space. The man got out of his vehicle, walked to her passenger door, opened it, pointed a gun at her and said, “Give me everything you have.”

She handed him the deposit bag, and he got in his vehicle and drove away. Two other males were in his car.

The suspect was described as 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and skinny with dark skin. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head.
