Quaker Steak & Lube announced Wednesday that it has named Greg Lippert, a 30-year industry veteran, chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Since 2005, Lippert has served as CEO of Mazzio’s LLC, where he directed Mazzio’s, Zio’s Italian Kitchen Brands and recently introduced the Oliveto Italian Bistro to the portfolio of restaurants.

Before joining Mazzio’s LLC, Lippert served as chief concept officer and chief operating officer of Fazoli’s Management, Inc. He began his career at Procter & Gamble and The Seven-Up Co.

Grand opening set

Southwoods Imaging will host a grand opening and open house from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at 7623 Market St.

There will be a 1 p.m. ribbon-cutting, and the event will feature tours, refreshments and giveaways.

The diagnostic-imaging center features a women’s health suite and the Titan 3T MRI — one of two machines in the region that feature more-detailed imaging and a wide-bore — all in a spalike atmosphere.

Design firm honored

COLUMBIANA

Herbert, Rowland & Grubic Inc. was named one of the top design firms in the United States by Engineering News-Record magazine, based on revenue.

HRG, based in Harrisburg, Pa., operates an office in Columbiana and serves Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The company employs 200 engineers, surveyors, geologists, landscape architects, environmental specialists and related personnel at eight offices.
