Liberty trustees award contract for sidewalk project

LIBERTY — Township Trustees awarded a contract for a sidewalk project this morning at a

special meeting.

Foust Construction Inc. was the lowest of six bidders with a bid of almost

$300,000.

The sidewalks, including engineering costs, are being paid for with a state

grant.

The sidewalks will begin at the library and extend to Fifth Avenue

Extension, then extend north to connect with a sidewalk there, said township

administrator Pat Ungaro.
