Major Elijah Kahn, Salvation Army Mahoning County Area Services coordinator, is preparing for Salvation Army Week 2014 by taking a 210 mile bicycle trek. Khan and and Tim Clayton, the organization’s advisory board chairman, will ride in the Tour of Scioto Valley River on May 10 and May 11 to raise awareness and funds to support needed programs in the Mahoning County. He visited at 10 a.m. to chat about his big trip and Mahoning Valley Salvation Army happenings.
