Local president attends national conference

SHARPSVILLE, PA.

Julia Dever of Sharpsville, president of Sharpsville VFW Post 6404 Auxiliary, attended the 2014 National Mid-Year Conference of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in February.

More than 300 members attended and heard Armithea Borel of Louisiana, the national president, report on activities and the mid-year progress of the auxiliary’s nine programs. Nationwide the auxiliary has almost 500,000 members and serving veterans continues to be its major goal.
