Food warehouse will present hunger project

SHARON, PA.

Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County will present its Empty Bowls Project from 4 to 8 p.m. April 9 at the James E. Winner Jr. Arts Culture Center, 98 E. State St.

Those attending can eat a simple meal of soup and bread and keep the bowl as a reminder that every day there are bowls that remain empty and hunger persists.

Tickets are $15 or $5 for soup only.

There also will be basket and silent auctions.
