House break-in reported on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN

Police reports say two men broke into a home in the 300 block of East Florida Avenue about 7 p.m. Friday through a second-story window.

Police called to the home saw an upstairs bedroom ransacked. A teenager in the home told police he got home and heard someone upstairs, and it sounded as if they were climbing through a window.

The teen went upstairs and saw two men in his backyard running, reports said. Reports also said it appeared nothing was taken from the home.
