Abigail Puskar and Drew Goodman, both of Washington, D.C., were united in marriage during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony July 20, 2013, at the Butler Institute of American Art, where a reception followed. Rabbi Simcha Zevit officiated.

The bride’s parents are Cathleen and Michael Puskar of Boardman. The groom’s parents are Cindy and Larry Goodman of Potomac, Md.

After a wedding trip to Corsica, France, the couple reside in Washington, D.C.

The bride wore an airy diamond white gown.

Attending the couple were Alex and Zachary Puskar, the bride’s brothers; Anna Goodman, the groom’s sister; and Callie Bartalon Puskar, the bride’s sister-in-law. Attendants wore black cocktail dresses.

Other participants were Joyce Cahalin Augustine, Adam Lax, Eric Mansbach and Kellie Brookhart Pendley.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and international studies from Denison University and is studying for her master’s degree in public administration at American University. She works in the office of the provost at American University in Washington.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Washington University and is studying for a master’s degree in business administration at American University. He is a regulatory analyst at Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc., in Rockville, Md.
