Fleetwood Mac coming to Consol

PITTSBURGH

After a 16-year absence, Christine McVie will rejoin Fleetwood Mac bandmates Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks on the legendary band’s On With The Show tour, which will come to Consol Energy Center on Oct. 14.

Hospital workers in art exhibition

WARREN

Three Trumbull Memorial Hospital workers are exhibiting their artwork at the Nissen Gallery on the hospital’s first floor.

Included are color-pencil works, pen and ink works and collages by Robert Ray of Warren, a hospital volunteer; dramatic photographs by Lana Van Auker of Canfield, a recreational therapist; and bird photographs by Dr. Len Blass of Warren, a contagious diseases specialist.

All are members of Trumbull Area Artists, which curates the shows in the Nissen Gallery.

The show runs through April 22.

Beatles tribute show at auditorium

College offers Miley Cyrus course

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.

A college is offering a summer course on Miley Cyrus and won’t even make students do any class twerk. The Saratogian newspaper reports the course will be offered by Skidmore College, a private liberal-arts college in Saratoga Springs. Professor Carolyn Chernoff calls the course “The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media.”
