Sebring superintendent reinstated; allegations unsubstantiated
SEBRING
Sebring schools Superintendent Christopher Lewis was reinstated to his post Friday.
The board of education voted to suspend Lewis with pay Monday, but never gave a reason publicly or to Lewis because “they wanted to investigate the allegations of inappropriate conduct that were alleged to have been reported to the Ohio Department of Education during Lewis’ employment with Sebring,” a press release issued by the school board says.
The board could not “substantiate the allegations brought to them and Mr. Lewis should return to work immediately without restriction,” the press release says.
The allegations made against Lewis did not involve a student at Sebring.
