Reports say GM halts turbo Cruze sales

Various national media are reporting that General Motors has halted sales of some Chevrolet Cruzes currently on dealer lots. The notice affects only 1.4 Liter turbo charge Cruze in the 2013 and 2014 model years.

No reason was given for the decision, but it comes on the heels of multiple recalls of GM vehicles.

GM Lordstown officials confirmed Friday that a confidentiality agreement began circulating at the plant this week, but it was unclear whether that agreement was related to the next generation of the Cruze or some other issue.
