Pa. man sentenced for dump-truck accidents

ERIE, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to serve six to 12 months in county prison for a rampage with a dump truck.

The Erie Times-News reports that 43-year-old Sean A. Dibble of Erie was sentenced Thursday for the February 2013 events.

Authorities say Dibble took a dump truck from a residence and hit one car there, then rammed another car, and finally drove the truck into the entrance of a hotel lobby. Police say Dibble got out of the truck, walked into the hotel and asked for a woman before he ran off. No injuries were reported.

Dibble must also write letters of apology and perform 150 hours of community service.
