Home sales good for Trumbull County in February
YOUNGSTOWN — February was a good month for home sales in Trumbull County, but sales stagnated in Mahoning County and fell off steeply in Columbiana County, compared to the same time last year, according to data released today by the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors.
A total of 120 homes sold in Trumbull County for a $9,436,145, a clear improvement from last February, when 107 homes sold for $7,860,936 the previous February.
In Mahoning County, three more homes sold than in February of last year, but the total dollar value on the 158 houses slipped from $13,638,243 to $13,366,992.
Meanwhile, Columbiana County home sales plummeted to 33 last month, down from 47 in February 2013. Those homes sold at $13,638,243, down from $4,554,900.
