Farmers announces promotions

Farmers Trust Co. on Thursday announced four promotions, effective immediately.
David A. Dastoli, a certified financial planner and chartered financial analyst with more than 20 years of investment management experience, has been promoted to chief investment officer. A graduate of Kent State University, he joined Farmers Trust in March 2012.
William F. Moss III now serves as vice president of the company’s Boardman Investment Group. Credentialed by the Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager Society, Moss joined the company in 2005.
Margaret S. Adams, a graduate of Denison University and Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, was promoted to vice president and trust officer. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association and the Mahoning County Bar Association
Michelle Schenker now serves as a trust officer in Farmers’ Employee Benefits Group. With a degree in actuarial sciences from Pennsylvania State University, Schenker has maintained responsibilities for management of various retirement plans since joining the Farmers Trust in 2007.
Joseph DePascale, the company’s president, said the moves were necessary to accommodate growth in Farmers Trust’s scope of operations. The company now has more than $1.4 billion in assets, he said.
