Benefit dinner Saturday in New Waterford

NEW WATERFORD — A creamed chicken-and-biscuit benefit dinner, with all proceeds going to the Caring Hands food ministry, will be Saturday at Fox Hollow Banquet Hall, 3769 E. Main St.

The meal will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. and include mashed potatoes, green beans, coffee or cold beverage, and dessert. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 8 and under and free for children under 2. Carry-out is available.

A basket auction and 50-50 raffle will be offered, with prizes including a full car detailing, two-night lodge stay for two, baskets and certificates.
