Basket raffle to benefit AWARE

SHARON, PA.

The Penn State Shenango Drama Club production of “Music and Memories: A Talent Show with a Twist!” is planned for 7:30 p.m. April 4 and 5 and 2:30 p.m. April 6 at Penn State Shenango Auditorium, 147 Shenango Ave.

The production features singers, dancers and musicians, martial arts, a novelty number and a parody of Orson Welles’ version of “The War of the Worlds” as the story line tying together all the acts.

Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, and $3 for children under age 5.

Thirty baskets will be raffled off as a benefit for AWARE of Mercer County; winners will be drawn Sunday afternoon. A 50-50 raffle during intermission at each performance also will benefit AWARE.

AWARE is a victim services agency dedicated to eliminating domestic/sexual violence in Mercer County, Pa.
