Fundraiser will take place at church

YOUNGSTOWN

Wine, Chocolate, Treez — and Beez, formerly Treez Please, will host its fourth annual fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., on the North Side.

The event’s new name reflects its increased emphasis on the importance of planting native plant communities that will provide food and habitat for our indigenous pollinators and birds.

The Jeff Bremer Duo and Guilty Pleasures will entertain, and the evening will include wine, hors d’oeuvres, and basket and live auctions. At 8:30 p.m. Earth Hour will be celebrated with 20 minutes of poetry and brief commentary.

Live potted native plants will be sold.

Use the Illinois Avenue entrance to the church.
