Austintown police investigating home burglary

AUSTINTOWN — Township police are investigating a burglary in which jewelry, coins, and medication were reported stolen from a residence.

A house on South Main Street was broken into sometime between 9 and 11 p.m. Monday. Watches and $5,000 worth of coins along with prescription medication were taken.

Police did not know how the burglar or burglars gained entrance to the home. The report was made Wednesday.
