OSHP investigating fatal crash in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Canfield Post is investigating a one-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a Warren man.

The crash occurred at 12:01 a.m. today on the Interstate 80 westbound entrance ramp from state Route 46 in the township

Angelo S. Tabachino, 24, of Warren, was operating a pickup truck at the time of the accident.

According to the patrol report, Tabachino was westbound on the I-80 entrance ramp from Route 46 when he drove off the right side of the roadway struck a guardrail and overturned onto the roof. He was partially ejected from the vehicle.

Tabachino was pronounced dead at the scene. The patrol report said speed, alcohol, and the lack of seat-belt usage appear to be factors in the crash.
